Timely and intimate, Noel Noel blends heartfelt Carols with old and contemporary poetry to create an alternative Lessons and Carols. You’ll hear familiar music in fresh new ways as we interleave carols from French, English, and German traditions with poems by Christina Rossetti, e.e. Cummings, and Thomas Campion, plus wonderful recent work by Northeast Ohio poets Dave Lucas, Diane Kendig, and Julie Warther. Beloved in the greater Cleveland community for her warm, rich voice, her insightful interviews and commentary, and her lifelong dedication to the arts, we’re honored to have longtime radio and TV host Dee Perry give voice to these poems.
