The Mermaid sees Les Délices set sail on a fantastic journey filled with tales of pirates, fearsome storms, raucous drinking songs, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, rousing sea shanties, and more. The Mermaid features Special guest vocalist and Irish bouzouki player Seán Dagher, who is renowned for his work on the Assassin’s Creed video game series and acclaimed recordings of sea shanty programs with Canada’s La Nef. Seán is joined by Soprano Elena Mullins Bailey and Les Délices’ ensemble of oboe, recorder, violin, cello, and percussion for this fascinating and fun program.
